Tyrone GAA & Tyrone GAA TV link Up with Nemeton

By tyronepro Thu 20th Aug

Tyrone County PRO Eugene McConnell speaking ahead of this weeks Intermediate Championship Fixtures, unveiled some exciting information relating to the Live Streaming of all the Championship matches, stating the Tyrone GAA & Tyrone GAA TV have linked up with Nemeton, the provider of  GAA Beo Sports. Continuing Eugene stated that,

“In view of the restrictions on attendances at sporting fixtures there is now more than  ever a growing demand for Live Streaming2.

To deliver an expanded and enhanced service, Tyrone GAA has arranged to provide Live Streaming of the LCC Tyrone Club Championship through the Irish broadcast company Nemeton. Our current Video production company MAC AV will continue to deliver all the high quality video recording of each game, but all the additional backup and support including CDN provision will now revert to Nemeton.

The new enhanced service offers an immediate link to the Live Stream, with no wait for an emailed link to be sent.

The Live Stream Tickets will also allow the subscriber to watch a video recording of the game purchased for the next 30 days.

Nemeton provide a full support service for users.

A ‘Deferred View’ service will also be provided for some matches that are not being Live Streamed due to clashes in timing of games.

Nemeton uses the world leading video platform, Vimeo, to host the live streams and video recordings.

 Advice to Subscribers

The first time when subscribers logon to purchase a ticket, they will be required to provide an email address and create a password. These details will be used for all subsequent purchases.

Subscribers are asked to purchase tickets early and give themselves time to familiarise themselves with the new system.

Payment will be made by providing credit card details PLEASE NOTE (not the existing Paypal system).

As soon as the payment is processed online, a link will be provided onscreen to view the Live Stream or the Recording.

NB! Remember to purchase early and follow the instructions. Details will be provided on the Official Tyrone GAA Website.

This weekend will see a busy schedule of games but we hope that all those unable to get to the matches will tune into Tyrone GAA TV.
