Tyrone GAATV goes live this Friday night with its first ever championship game, .being streamed Live.
 
The LCC Group Senior Championship quarter-final clash of Edendork and Galbally will be streamed live worldwide in an exciting new venture which will bring all the action, as it happens, to supporters far and wide, with quality commentary and analysis.
The Healy Park tie is the first of many planned broadcasts via the internet, and Red Hand officials are confident that this pilot offering will be a success and will pave the way for regular coverage of one of the most exciting championships in the country.
The meeting of the St Malachy’s and the Pearses is the first of four eagerly anticipated SFC quarter-final ties which will be played over the course of this weekend, along with the four LCC Group Intermediate Championship quarter-finals, providing a feast of action for GAA fans at the various venues.
“The Galbally v Edendork game has been selected to launch the drive to bring our games to the wider GAA family all across the world,” said Tyrone PRO Eugene McConnell.
“Tyrone GAA have embarked on a very forward-thinking approach to bring our games to the wider GAA audience who would love to savour the atmosphere and see the action from the highly competitive LCC Group Tyrone Senior Football Championship.
Mr McConnell said the moment that the cameras will roll on Friday evening will represent the culmination of an intense process of preparation for a new venture which will in the future provide an important avenue for gaelic games coverage.
“A lot of hard work and preparation has gone into making this happen so we have a very professional and polished production. The games will be broadcast in high definition.”
Up to five cameras will capture all the action, which will be described and examined through in-depth analysis from well known GAA personalities who will form the expert panel.
“This venture for Tyrone GAA presents for some exciting times ahead in terms of coverage of our Games,” said McConnell.
“There are thousands of exiled Tyrone Gaels all over the world and we will now be able to put them back in touch with their county, their parish and their clubs and from their own living room or office they can tune in and feel part of the excitement and the action.”
The games will be available to log onto live through the Tyrone GAA website, www.tyrone.gaa.ie. First up on Friday night will be Edendork v Galbally and the coverage will start from 8.15pm on Friday night live from Healy Park all for only £3
The Tyrone PRO said he is confident there is a vast demand for this facility, and it is intended to continue to provide the platform so all those who wish to follow the Tyrone Championship will have that opportunity.
“We are very lucky to have secured the services of MAC AV and their professional team of camera personnel and production staff. We also have secured the services of some well known talent in terms of broadcasting experience and live commentary. I am confident the huge GAA following won’t be disappointed when they tune in to see what is on offer.
“It is vitally important that the GAA makes full use of every available means within its disposable to promote and advance our games to as wide an audience as possible.
“This is our first attempt in using the advanced methods of technology and it is important that the GAA makes full use of every available means at its disposal to promote and advance our games to as wide an audience as possible.”
 
To access live coverage, a Payment Portal will be in place to accept payments. The Payment Process is as follows.
 
The payment process will be in two simple stages:
 “Click on “Buy Now” – You will then be taken to a Paypal Payment Portal where you will have two choices for payment;
 With an existing Paypal Account or by providing your Credit Card details.
 Then you will receive an e-mail with the ticket number (Password).
 Enter the ticket number (Password) into the first screen and you will be taken to the CDN Live Video Stream.
