Tyrone Gaels race out of the blocks in the ‘Hunt for One Hundred’

The recently launched Club Tyrone ‘Hunt for One Hundred’, spearheaded by former Tyrone great and European Champion Sprinter Patsy Forbes, has raced off to a flying start. After the opening week there has been a tremendous response from Tyrone Gaels and over 50 new members have stepped up to join Club Tyrone. The campaign, which is running for the month of June, is already more than halfway to its target of 100 new members prior to Tyrone taking the field in the First Round of the All-Ireland Qualifiers.
Club Tyrone is hosting a special Open Night at the new Tyrone GAA Centre at Garvaghey on Thursday 13 June from 7.00pm. All Tyrone Gaels are welcome to see at first hand what’s been developed there. You’ll get a tour of the complex, see Tyrone train, hear from Mickey Harte and get a sense of what we’re doing and why we do it. It’s a night for everyone interested in Tyrone GAA.
Club Tyrone has grown to become a key part of Tyrone GAA, contributing over £3m since the turn of the Millennium and being central to the creation and development of Garvaghey. Membership is £500 per year, every penny of which supports the development of the GAA at County level in Tyrone.
