The 2014 Danske Bank Ulster Colleges’ Football All-stars has a heavy Tyrone influence with 3 of the Tyrone Minor Panel that reached the 2013 All Ireland Final picking up the coveted awards. Trillick’s Lee Brennan collected his second consecutive award at Right Corner Forward, while Conor McKenna of Eglish was named at Centre Half Forward. Cathal McShane completed this trio, being named at Midfield and in turn was the first award winner from both the Owen Roes club and Holy Cross College, Strabane.
St Ciaran’s Ballygawley and Holy Trinity Cookstown also picked up awards in their first year in Colleges competition. St Ciaran’s Ryan McAnespie was named at Left Half Forward, while Holy Trinity’s Jason Rocks was selected at Left Corner Back.
