Tyrone continued their unbeaten start to 2013 by defeating All-Ireland Champions Donegal by 4 points in a hard fought tussle in Omagh. A first half penalty save by TG4 Man of the Match Niall Morgan helped Tyrone to a 0-6 to 0-4 lead at the break, before a Stephen O’Neill goal early in the second half gave Tyrone the catalyst to secure a 4 point victory.

Tyrone  Ladies also kick started their Tesco Homegrown NFL campaign with a 4-15 to 1-8 victory over Meath. Goals from Cathy Donnelly (2), Jolene Donnelly and Lycrecia Quinn helped secure the much needed points for Mickey Rea’s side.
