Congratulation to the Ceol Uirlise team from Fintona who were crowned Ulster Champions at the Ulster Finals of Scór na nÓg in Downpatrick. The go forward now, and join with Trí Leac Tráth na gCeist team, in the the All Ireland Finals to be held in Sligo
I T College on Saturday 17th February at 3.00 pm. They now seek to follow in the footsteps of the successful team from Donaghmore in last year’s corresponding final at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.
Commiseration go to the Rince Foirne team from Omagh St Enda’s, the recitation of Annabel Mc Ateer from Edendork and the Rince Seit team from An Charraig Mhór all of whom acquitted themselves with spirit that would be expected from any group performing on behalf of Tír Eoghain.
It was an exceptional achievement to have reached and performed so well in an Ulster Final. So heartiest congratulations to all four clubs for their efforts.
