Weeshie Fogarty is the renowned voice of the GAA on Radio Kerry and is one of the most popular broadcasters in the country and his passion for the GAA in Kerry and beyond is well known. Recently, Weeshie wrote a book entitled ‘My Beautiful obsession – Chasing the Kerry dream’.
The launch of Weeshie’s book in the Gleneagles Hotel Killarney attracted over 500 people and was addressed by none other than Maurice Fitzgerald.
Weeshie is coming to Paudge Quinn’s/ Quinn’s Corner which is between Dungannon and Ballygawley, near Cabragh. We are billing this event as ‘An audience with Weeshie Fogarty and it promises to be a great evening’s craic of story-telling and GAA inter-county rivalry. Weeshie promises to name the best Kerry 15 of all time, so he is not afraid of controversy.
This event has no admission charge, refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity for anyone interested to purchase Weeshie’s book and get it personally signed.
The event takes place in Quinn’s Corner on Thursday evening 21st February at 8pm.
