Award for Young Volunteers
Does your club have any young volunteers from 16 – 24years?
YES! Then they can apply for Gold Mark which is a volunteering award recognised by the Department of Education to celebrate the volunteering efforts of young people which can then add value to your young volunteers CVs and University Applications.
GoldMark is a dynamic volunteer initiative designed to promote and recognise sports volunteering among young people aged 16-24years. It builds on the strengths of Millennium Volunteers which has been running successfully in the North of Ireland over 10 years.
Ulster GAA is now a GoldMArk Co-Ordinator and is inviting clubs to nominate young people to apply for GoldMark. Please complete the attached ‘Application of Interest’ form and return to me by Monday 13th February and we will take it from there.
