Sixty years ago, July 29th 1956. Tyrone finally got their hands on the Anglo Celt Cup, Ulster senior football champions at last. That anniversary will be marked by Tyrone GAA on Friday. At Clones Tyrone beat Cavan in that final, Omagh’s Thady Turbett was in goals and recalled to Paddy Hunter the championship run and what it meant to finally be crowned champions.
