The GAA in Tyrone has undertaken a bold initiative to help the promotion of the Irish language in schools and in the wider community.
Entitled ‘Mo Chlub agus Mo Shaol’ – ‘My Club and My Life’ – this 32-page book, which is beautifully illustrated, is based on the involvement of a young family in their local GAA club. Written by Tyrone Irish language officer, Risteard Mac Daibhéid and Tyrone GAA historian, Joseph Martin, it should also be of immense interest to GAA clubs and County Boards aiming to promote the language.
The book costs £7/€8 incl. P&P and is available by clicking on this link:
