Tyrones hurlers return to action on Saturday with af irst round clash in the Nicky Rackard Cup. Tony Fawls side face Louth at Dundalk keen to bounce back after their Ulster championship exit and poor national league season. Donnelly and Taggart miss out for Tyrone but Fawl says that everyone else is available
“We have a full squad bar the two boys, we are going to Louth not ust to make up the numbers, we will give them a game, I know we must be at our best and I know the boys are determined, it will be tough but we’ll see what happens”
Saturday also featues the Ulster Poc Fada at Cavehill above Belfast. The cream of Ulster long puc specialists from under 16s to over 40s will be in action. Ulsters only national success came in 1982 when Tyrones Gerry Goodwin claimed the title.
