Tyrone Minor Football Manager Gerry Donnelly has confirmed his Captain and Vice-Captain for the 2023 season. Donaghmore’s Conor O’Neill will captain the side whilst Ardboe’s Conor Devlin will be the vice-captain.
Conor O’Neill – a recent All-Ireland winner with his school St. Joseph’s Grammar Donaghmore – has shown his leadership skills across Club, County and Schools levels in recent years. With Donaghmore St. Patrick’s, he has won back-to-back G1 league and championship doubles. Conor was also a member of the Tyrone Minor team which won the Ulster league & championship double in 2022 and the Tyrone Under 16 team that won the Buncrana Cup. He recently annexed the Ulster Schools MacLarnon Cup and All-Ireland Paddy Drummond Cup with his School.
Conor Devlin was a member of last year’s Ulster League & Championship winning side and recently featured for his school Holy Trinity College in the 2023 MacRory Cup Final. He was named a QUB Future All-Star in 2022 and has had great success with his club Ardboe, namely an U16 league title, U14 league title and an U14 feile & championship double. Conor also won the Buncrana Cup with the Tyrone Under 16’s in 2022.
