An opportune goal and a stunning save eased Omagh St Endas ladies into a first all Ireland ladies junior final on Saturday. The Ulster champions trailed 0-6 to 0-5 to Offaly side Edenderry at the break. The Leinster champions dominating for long periods after Omagh had led by two points in the opening minutes.. Emma Collins goal on the 49th minute, a long range dipping effort put Omagh back into the lead after Byrne had replied to two Omagh points. A point from Cara McCrossan and a Kelly O’Sullivan score stretched the Omagh lead to five before Colleen McCullaghs wonder save. Edenderry forward Sinead Taylors pile driver was somehow palmed around the post by the Omagh keeper at full stretch. St Endas fired over a further three points as the Tyrone and Ulster champions sealed a 1-12 to 0-7 win.
