We are delighted to announce that Peter Harte has been appointed as the Tyrone Senior Football Captain for 2024, with Brian Kennedy stepping into the role of Vice-Captain.
Peter made his debut in 2010 against Antrim and has gone on to represent Tyrone on 203 occasions. The Errigal Ciaran man is a two time GAA-GPA All Star winner, four time Ulster Football Championship winner and the holder of an All-Ireland Celtic Cross, he brings a wealth of experience to his new leadership role.
Derrylaughan’s Brian Kennedy has represented Tyrone 55 times since making his debut in 2019. His strength and skill mark him out as one of the Country’s standout midfielders and he was recognised for his performances with a GAA-GPA All Star award in 2021.
Peter will lead his team out for the first time on Sunday afternoon, against Roscommon in the Allianz League at O’Neills Healy Park.
