The 2011 Scór Sinsear programme gets under way later this month with preliminary rounds to be held in Newtownstewart, Killeeshil and Carrickmore. Clubs are asked to attend the venue which is closest to their home base. The semi finals will be held in Dún Uladh Centre , Killyclogher and St Patrick’s G A C Hall, Eglish on the first weekend in February.
The County Final is scheduled to be held in Galbally Community Centre on 20th February 2011 at 3.00 pm.
This is the beginning of club quests to land one of the coveted national titles at Scór Sinsear. Scór Sinsear has always been strong in Tyrone with huge participation from the clubs and hopefully this year will be no exception. Scór na nÓg has set the standard for the seniors to attain where Tyrone representation in seven of the eight disciplines at the Ulster Final of Scór na nÓg on Saturday 15th January in Silverbridge in Co Armagh.
Many of the clubs have been working hard in preparation for the programme and if any club wishes to take part in Scór Sinsear please do not hesitate to get in touch with and of the Culture and Language committee.
