Ahead of this weekend’s All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final, spectators are asked to take note of the following information.

The Gardai and Croke Park Stadium Operations have provided the following information –
  • Come early and enjoy the atmosphere, stiles open 90 minutes prior to the first game.
  • Plan your journey in advance and leave plenty of time to arrive in the stadium. There are a number of other city events taking place including Pride, Longitude and concerts in Malahide Castle. Where possible use public transport.
  • Have your ticket downloaded in advance.
  • Follow the instructions of Stewards and An Garda Síochána at all times
  • Supporters are reminded that flares and smoke cannisters are dangerous and illegal and are strictly prohibited. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Remember Croke Park is in a residential area. Please Respect our neighbours.

Traffic at M1 Toll Plaza

CRG and operator, NorthLink, are responsible for the M1 motorway and toll plaza near Drogheda, Co Meath. The plaza can and does make every effort to cater for increased traffic during peak hours and events with the various lanes available.

Spectators should note and take the following points into account for their journey –

  • travel as early as possible
  • leave with plenty of time
  • have the correct euro toll amount ready
  • to consider other alternative routes or modes of transport

Please note that the Toll Plaza does not accept sterling but do accept contactless and card payments – including via watch & phones.
