Malachy O’Rourke has named his matchday panel for this weekend’s highly anticipated All-Ireland Senior Championship group stage game against Donegal.
The Red Hands head into the tie with a blend of experience and youth across the starting fifteen and bench, as the side look to build on recent performances.
Niall Morgan once again takes his place between the posts, with a full-back line of Aidan Clarke, Peter Teague, and Niall Devlin named in front of him. The half-back line sees the return of the ever-reliable Michael McKernan alongside Rory Brennan and Kieran McGeary.
In midfield, Brian Kennedy and Conn Kilpatrick form a familiar and powerful partnership, while the half-forward line features Aodhan Donaghy, Mattie Donnelly, and Ciarán Daly. Up front, the inside forward trio of Darren McCurry, Peter Harte, and Darragh Canavan promises firepower and flair.
Among the substitutes, there’s a strong mix of proven county campaigners and exciting emerging talent, including the likes of Ben McDonnell, Conor Meyler, and Eoin McElholm.
