Tyrone GAA will host the The Irish Volunteers Commemorative Organisation exhibition at the Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October. On display will be many of the artifacts from the highly regarded “Revolution 1916 Exhibition” from the Ambassador Theatre in Dublin.
On display in the exhibition will be the largest privately held collection of artifacts from the Irish Volunteer era including an original Proclamation, a half Proclamation used in the Court Martials, The GPO door handle, Irish Volunteers original uniforms and weapons from the 1916 Rising.
Tyrone GAA invites you to visit the Garvaghey Centre on 28th and 29th of October to join in the GAA’s commemoration of the 1916 Easter Rising.
The exhibit will open at 12 noon on Friday and 9.30am on Saturday. Admission: Adults £5 & Children Free – all proceeds to the development of Culture and Scór in the County.
