All club officers, coaches, players, past players, referees and parents are invited to attend the Tyrone Hurling Forum on Wednesday 3rd November 2010 in Kelly’s Inn at 7:30pm. The aim of the forum is to look at the current issues faced within the County and putting a hurling development plan in place.
The following workshops will be open to discussion on the night:
Workshop One
1.) Fixtures/Competition Structures
Look at the current competition structure / fixture schedule from U8 through to senior level. Highlight current issues and possible solutions to those identified
Workshop Two
2.) PR
Look at the level of hurling PR within the County. Highlight current issues and possible solutions
Workshop Three
3.) County Hurling Teams
Look at the issues faced in regards to the County Hurling teams from U14 level through to senior level. Highlight possible solutions to the issues identified.
Workshop Four
4.) Recruiting Volunteers into the Club
The Majority of Clubs struggle to get more volunteers into the Club environment. Highlight how this impacts on the development of hurling within the Club and identify how Clubs can go about recruiting more active volunteers.
