The Scór na nÓg season springs into life at the beginning of November
This year’s Scór programme begins in earnest on the 4th November with the opening preliminary round being held at St John’s Parish Hall in Moy beginning at 7.30 pm. This round is to specifically deal with clubs from the east of the county. Our second night, Saturday 5th November at 7.00 pm, brings us to St Patrick’s Hall in Dromore which will accommodate the clubs from the west of the County. The third night, Sunday 6th November also at 7.00 pm, will be held in the Patrician Hall in Carrickmore and will accommodate the clubs in central Tyrone. This night will be the adjudication night when the qualifiers for the semi-finals will be made known.
The two semi-finals will be held on Saturday 18th November, in the Parochial Centre, Cookstown while the second semi-final will be held in Dún Uladh Centre on Sunday 19th December.
This year’s county final will be held in St Joseph’s Hall in Omagh on Sunday 4th December 2016.
County winners will then progress to the Ulster Semi Finals at a Derry venue, in Swatragh, on Sunday 11th December, where Tyrone clubs will compete against clubs from counties Cavan, Down, Derry and Donegal for places in the Ulster Final which is to be held in Galbally Community centre on Saturday 14th January 2017 at 3.00 pm. Two clubs from each discipline in the semi-finals will qualify for the Ulster Final. A single adjudicator system will apply in all instances in these competitions at Ulster level.
The All Ireland Final of Scór na nÓg is to be held in the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on Saturday 11th February at 3.00 pm.
The Scór Sinsear All Ireland Final will also be held in the Waterfront Hall. Dates and venues for Scór Sinsear will be made known at a later date.
