Tyrone Vocational Schools U14 Quarter Final Result
St Ciarán’s Ballygawley 2-16 St Joseph’s Coalisland 2-06
In almost excellent conditions St Ciarán’s qualified for a semi-final encounter with Dean Maguirc, Carrickmore, on Tuesday, in a game which was played in excellent spirits. St Ciarán’s got off to a good start racing into a 6 point lead. St Joseph’s then found their composure and began eating into their lead with points as the first half progressed, however a goal from Jodie McGlone restored a six point cushion for St Ciarán’s at half time.  The second half began with both sides trading scores until Coalisland scored a goal and two points without reply to reduce their deficit to 3 points. St Ciaran’s responded with a goal from a Conor Kelly penalty and subsequently pulled away for a comfortable victory at the end. St Ciarán’s now play Dean Maguirc in the semi-final on Friday 19th November at 12pm in Dunmoyle with Holy Trinity, Cookstown awaiting the winners in the final.

Tyrone Vocational Schools U14 Semi-Final Result
Holy Trinity Cookstown 6-14 St Patrick’s Dungannon  1-05
A strong Holy Trinity side qualified for the Tyrone Vocational U14 final on Tuesday after a comprehensive 6-14 to 1-05 victory over St Patrick’s Dungannon on Tuesday afternoon. They now await the winners of the other semi-final which will be contested on Friday 19th November at 12pm in Dunmoyle between Dean Maguirc Carrickmore and St Ciaran’s Ballygawley.

Tyrone Vocational Schools U16 Semi-Final Result
St Joseph’s Coalisland 1-06 Holy Trinity Cookstown 0-8
St Joseph’s Coalisland recorded a narrow victory over Holy Trinity Cookstown at Edendork on Tuesday to qualify for the final of the U16 Tyrone Vocational championship. Holy Trinity led 0-4 to 0-2 at the interval with both sides struggling to find a consistent attacking rhythm in an error strewn half. The second half saw Holy Trinity stretch their lead to 0-7 to 0-2 however this period of dominance also led to 8 wides as St Joseph’s defended with resolution.  A St Joseph’s goal proved to be the turning point in the last quarter from Cahir Quinn and several points later the game was level with everything to play for.  A last minute point from D Magee saw St Joseph’s edge ahead and they held out to emerge victorious. In the final they will play the winners of Dean Maguirc Carrickmore and St Ciarán’s Ballygawley who contest their semi-final on Monday 22nd November at 12pm in Loughmacrory.
